TORONTO, ON. (August 4, 2025) – Over the weekend, MULTI-PLATINUM-selling legendary Rock group Barenaked Ladies concluded their massive Last Summer On Earth 2025 Tour in front of a packed house at Pine Knob Music Theatrein Clarkston, MI on Saturday (8/2). The explosive finale followed on the heels of taking over amphitheaters, pavilions, theaters, and more leading up to a victory lap in the Midwest. By the end of this run, the group had entertained massive crowds across North America and Canada. It’s no wonder this jaunt stands out as one of the band’s favorite headliners to date. The Last Summer On Earth 2025 Tour incited some of the most enthusiastic critical applause of their entire career as well.Toronto Star praised how, “They still jump about and joke onstage as if they were in their mid-20s, they still elongate the outros of classic songs to allow for impromptu rap breakdowns, and they even cover Van Halen and Chappell Roan with their trademark acoustic accents.” HELLO! Magazine Canada sat down with frontman Ed Robertson for an extensive print interview and observed how, “The lead singer and co-founder of Barenaked Ladies is known for his witty lyrics and cheeky delivery, but that’s always been his way of getting deeper.” Tanglewood Review hailed it as “Energetic ‘90s nostalgia, tightly played.”

NYS Music spotlighted the New York City stop at Rooftop at Pier 17 as “an evening filled with catchy, radio friendly melodies, uplifting sing-alongs, lighthearted humor, and heartfelt moments of genuine connection.” Meanwhile, Syracuse.com raved, “BNL brilliantly mixed its setlist with familiar hits like ‘The Old Apartment,’ ‘Pinch Me,’ ‘If I Had $1,000,000’ and the theme to the television show ‘The Big Bang Theory’ with somewhat deeper cuts.” theSOURCE reminded, “A large part of the Barenaked Ladies brand is a combination of infectious mischief and low-key brilliance that informs cornerstones of the BNL songbook.” Cincinnati Magazine marveled at the fact they “have been providing a gratifying backbeat for decades via massive pop hits.” Additionally, it received looks from San Diego Reader, Music Connection, Illinois Entertainer, and many more.
“It was the best tour we’ve been on, bar none!” Fastball continues “Barenaked Ladies are a class act all the way around and they came through for us in a major way when our drummer had to leave the tour. The band set the stage for the tour with a series of major interviews and appearances. First up, they delivered an unforgettable performance of “One Week” on NBC’s TODAY. Robertson and Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray appeared together on a nearly two-hour episode of comedian Bert Kreischer’s popular podcast Something’s Burning.
PopDust sat down with the band on an episode of Jordan and Demi, going on to affirm, “For more than 30 years, Barenaked Ladies have been fixtures of pop culture.” American Songwriter featured them online and in the summer issue, assuring, “But the quartet, which also includes keyboardist Kevin Hearn, bassist Jim Creeggan, and drummer Tyler Stewart, isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.”
